Exports of processed food and vegetables
totaled $180 million in January-September,
a 22 percent increase over the corresponding
period in 2005, Manufacturers Association's
Food Industries Association chairman
Ron Kobrovsky reported today.
Food exports to China totaled $18
million in January-September, 120
percent higher than in the corresponding
period last year. Total food exports
grew 5 percent over the corresponding
period to $528.5 million, while food
imports grew 12.5 percent to $886.2
million.
